PLATEAU VALLEY HOSPITAL DISTRICT BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Tuesday, May 19, 2026

Attendance: Board: Steve Bryson, Don Mease, & Robert Hassell.
Staff & Consultants: Shannon Currier, Jessi Clark & Deborah Borrego (1730).

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 1714 BY STEVE BRYSON, PRESIDENT.

  1. ROLL CALL:  Mike Simons and Marsha Encke were absent.
  • Motion 1: Don Mease motioned that the Board of Directors excuses Mike Simons and Marsha Encke from the meeting. Robert Hassell seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
  1. MINUTES
    April 21, 2026, Regular Meeting
  • Motion 2: Don Mease motioned that the Board of Directors approves the minutes of the April 21, 2026 regular meeting as presented.  Robert Hassell seconded.  Motion carried unanimously.

  1. CLINIC CONSULTANT REPORT
    Nothing presented.

  2. CONSULTANT CPA REPORT
    Financial Report – The budget-to-actual report was reviewed in depth.  Shannon will present the audit of the 2025 financials at the June meeting.
  • Motion 3: Don Mease motioned that the Board of Directors approves the April ACH transactions, payroll and checks (#55984-55997) and the contractual adjustments in the amount of $18,575.47. Robert Hassell seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

  • District Administrator Report
    • Time Capsule – We will do the opening of the time capsule on July 4 at 11:00AM in front of the old building (Building B).  We are being added to the official Heritage Days schedule.  Jessi will work on advertising from us.
    • Staff Recognition – Tabled until next month.
    • Amazon – SDA is covering the Prime Business membership again this year .
